Photograph Editing Style Examples
Here are some examples of basic editing
Basic editing encompasses meticulously sorting through a large volume of images, typically ranging from 450 to 800 per hour session, and handpicking the best 50 for editing. Each selected image undergoes comprehensive adjustments, including exposure, color correction, contrast, shadows, highlights, whites, blacks, color saturation, sharpness, smoothness, and cropping, without resorting to templates or overlays. Given the changing lighting conditions throughout the shoot, I adjust brightness, exposure, color consistency and natural skin tones, especially as the sun sets and the colors shift from yellow to blue. Additionally, I address any tilting in rock structures through individual cropping and manage pixelation while preserving sharpness, particularly in darker images toward the end of the shoot. Layering techniques are employed to enhance dimensionality and balance, with careful attention to reducing harsh highlights and brightening shadowed areas. This process also involves selective color enhancement in the sky and clouds to maintain realism without excessive saturation. Each shoot presents unique challenges, and my editing approach is tailored to the location, season, and lighting conditions, resulting in a meticulously crafted and distinct final product.
Here are some examples of detailed editing
Detailed editing necessitates the use of specialized editing software, typically taking about an hour per image. This occurs when a client requests manipulation beyond the image’s natural reality as captured. Some capabilities of this software include smoothing clothing wrinkles, fixing hair strands, reshaping body features, removing objects like tourists, signs, or fences from the background, refining skin by eliminating imperfections and stains, and removing bra straps, among others. The cost is $30 per image.
In this image, I smoothed out the clothing and skin, removing wrinkles and reshaping the clothes for a more polished appearance.
Here are some examples of special effects editing
I utilize a different program to create a special effects look, imbuing images with soft romantic sunsets, a golden glow, and a natural lighting spectrum, particularly emphasizing yellow and sunset tones. Each image typically requires about an hour of work, and the cost is $30 per image.
Here are some examples of sky replacement editing
I offer a sky replacement feature to add vibrancy to the image. This allows clients to capture the look and feel of a sunset even if it’s not present during the scheduled shoot time. The cost for a sky replacement is an additional $20 per image. image.
