Devil’s Bridge Engagement Photo Shoot
One of the several locations that I enjoy using for engagement photoshoots is Devil’s Bridge located here in Sedona, Arizona. Devil’s bridge is a breathtaking sight to behold. It is the largest natural sandstone arch located in the Coconino National Forest. The Bridge stands an epic 54 feet tall and 45 feet wide.
For the best experience shooting at Devil’s Bridge, I always advise my clients to arrive early as getting to this location requires around an hour of hiking before getting to the bridge. It’s a very popular hike that offers breathtaking views of Red Rock Country and includes several other stunning shooting locations in and around the area.
After we capture a bunch of great shots at Devil’s Bridge if time permits we can head over to a nearby secluded cave that offers a very interesting backdrop affording us the opportunity to catch you in a totally and equally stunning location. This location is among my favorites for capturing a unique look with all of its beautiful colors and structures that blend together creating a truly rare effect.
In addition to the Devil’s Bridge and the cave, there is also yet another gorgeous shooting location nearby. At this spot, you’ll be standing on a small ledge overlooking a beautiful valley, capturing all of its lush a verdant features making this backdrop one of the most spectacular in all of Sedona. The valleys in Sedona are filled with stunning rock structures that stretch for miles & miles.
After soaking in the views, the valley becomes our next backdrop for more portraits. During this time the sun has started to set, the colors in the sky truly come to life, like a living canvas. There are many interesting views to see along the path as well – from valleys to trees to large red rock structures and all that stands between, the beauty is endless. There’s even an area where the locals stack rock structures creating a visual experience that is as unique as it is memorable.
